Physics Theory Seminar with Kaori Fuyuto on Searching for muon to electron conversion

Kaori Fuyuto from Los Alamos National Lab (Hosted by Dev/Pastore) will be presenting the seminar "Searching for muon to electron conversion"

The Standard Model (SM) of Particle Physics has successfully passed virtually every empirical test in the laboratory so far. However, there are still some major puzzles that cannot be explained by the SM in our Universe such as the origin of neutrino mass and the existence of dark matter. The explanation requires new physics beyond the SM (BSM). Charged lepton flavor violations (CLFV) are very powerful tools to search for BSM. Inthis talk, I will discuss how the search for muon to electron conversion can probe BSM physics.
